Most types of surgical procedures can be done at Newkirk Family Veterinarians. With the latest in Laser Surgical and Radio Wave Surgical equipment, we are skilled in both routine and difficult surgery. We will provide details of the pre and post- surgical expectations.

We want your pet to be as safe as possible during anesthesia, so before surgery, we run blood tests and an electrocardiogram. These tests check for the health of the internal organs that handle anesthesia and makes sure that heart is healthy and strong.

However, if we feel that we can't handle a particular case, we have a terrific support list of surgeons to refer to, who specialize in even the most serious cases.
